At Awesim Building Contractors, we believe in fair and up-front pricing. Whether you’re on a remote cattle station,  or a rural property west of Tamworth, we aim to keep our rates clear and reasonable — with no hidden surprises. Below you’ll find our standard fees for building, labour, travel and rural accommodation.

SERVICE STANDARD RATE (ex GST)
Qualified Carpenter $100.00 per hour
Skilled Labour $75.00 per hour
Apprentice $50.00 per hour

Travel Fees

Travel to Rural or Remote Sites
Travel Time $100.00 per hour (charged for return trip from Tamworth)
Remote Access Quoted individually for 4WD or off-grid access

Living Away from Home Allowance

Condition Details
Long-Distance or Multi-Day Site Work Where overnight stays are required
Accommodation + Meal Allowance $250.00 per day*
Living Away From Home Allowance LAFHA $50.00 per day*
Covers basic accommodation and food while working away
Billed per day of site attendance where overnighting is necessary

Additional Notes

  • Our Builders Margin applies to all labour, material, hire equipment, at 20% margin
  • All fees are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated, at 10%GST
  • Invoices will include an itemised breakdown of works performed, labour, materials, travel & accommodation.
  • Weekend and public holiday rates available on request.
